Mission of the library project

I have been learning in Yeshivas Mir Yerushalayim for a couple years.

Often, I have heard from other bochurim that they are interested in gaining a deeper connection to Yiddishkeit. These are mainstream bochurim who want to spend their free time finding answers to their questions and to expand their knowledge in areas of Torah, Hashkofa, Mussar, Chassidus, and Halacha that they are unfamiliar with. However, many bochurim find it strenuous to read these seforim in Loshon Kodesh while relaxing during their free time.

Fortunately, there are plenty of English seforim available that discuss and delve into almost every topic in Yiddishkeit. Unfortunately, however, many bochurim still cannot access this wealth of Torah knowledge due to the high cost of English seforim.

Because of this, I decided to start raising the necessary funds for a free “English Seforim Lending Library” for the English-speaking bochurim of Yerushalayim so that they can take a couple books to their dirah or spend their free time reading a book in a relaxed library atmosphere.

With the help of Hashem, within a few months, I exceeded my $10,000 goal for the Yerushalayim Library and have already purchased many seforim.

However, while back in America during the coronavirus, I became aware that there are American yeshivos that would also want to have an English seforim library, but cannot afford to spend the money on a library while trying to support the basic yeshiva structure.

So, I am now spearheading a project to supply as many yeshivos as are interested with an English seforim library to help yeshivos provide their bochurim with additional opportunities to grow and to develop a personal connection with Hashem, the Torah, and Yiddishkeit.

I am turning to you to ask if you'd like to share in this wonderful opportunity and be a sponser of this Torah Library Project, which will no doubt be a tremendous zechus for you and your family.
