Mission of the library project

I have learned in the Mir Yerushalayim for several years.

During my years in Yerushalayim, I have often heard from other bochurim that they are interested in gaining a deeper connection to Yiddishkeit. These are mainstream bochurim who want to spend their free time finding answers to their questions and to expand their knowledge in areas of Torah, Hashkofa, Mussar, Chassidus, and Halacha that they are unfamiliar with. However, many bochurim find it strenuous to read these seforim in Loshon Kodesh while relaxing during their free time.

Fortunately, there are plenty of English seforim available that discuss and delve into almost every topic in Yiddishkeit. Unfortunately, however, many bochurim still cannot access this wealth of Torah knowledge due to the high cost of English seforim.

Because of this, I decided to raise the necessary funds to spearhead a free English seforim lending library for the bochurim of Yerushalayim so that they can learn about the topics that interest them at their own pace and at no cost.

With the help of Hashem, within a few months, I exceeded my original goal of $10,000.

After purchasing bookshelves, books, receiving book donations, binding the books, and being provided rent-free space through the generosity of Yeshivas Chosein Yehoshua, I was able to create a library with over 1,000 titles.

It is now 3 years later and I am B"H Married and learning in BMG.

The Library continues to be used by tens of Bochurim and Avreichim every week. However, the opening hours is limited by the need for a librarian. I need your help to upgrade the library to a self-serve computerized system so that the library will be available at all times in a user-friendly fashion. In addition to updating the library with new titles.

So I am turning to you to ask if you'd like to share in this wonderful opportunity and be a sponsor of this Torah Library, which will no doubt be a tremendous zechus for you and your family.
